How custom sizes work
Enter a width and height in pixels, millimetres, centimetres or inches. For physical sizes, Maru converts to pixels using the DPI you set (300 by default). Add a maximum file size, and a minimum if your form has one.
Maru crops to your exact shape, resizes, then compresses until the file lands inside your range. If the file comes out too small, it raises the quality first and only pads the file as a last resort, and it tells you when it does.
Your entries are remembered on this device so you don't have to type them again. They are never sent anywhere.
